The Plough and Spa
The Elite Spa was a local luncheonette and grocery store on Mass. Ave. midway between Harvard and Central Squares. The old sign was on the wall of what is now The Plough and Stars, probably the first place in America to serve Guinness on tap, and the pub of choice for longhairs, lushes, literati and IRA sympathizers. |
